IIT Ropar (IIT-RPR) Admission Process

IIT Ropar admissions are available for B.Tech, B.Tech M.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, MS, and PhD programmes. Before applying for IIT Ropar admissions the candidates should appear for the appropriate entrance examination such as JEE Main/GATE/JAM.

IIT Ropar Admissions 2025 for UG

IIT Ropar offers various undergraduate courses. IIT Ropar courses at the UG level include B.Tech and B.Tech+M.Tech programmes. The duration of IIT Ropar B.Tech course is 4 years and IIT Ropar B.Tech M.Tech is 5 years.

IIT Ropar Admission Eligibility Criteria and Seat Intake for UG

Candidates have to clear JEE Main and appear for JEE Advanced and obtain a valid rank.
Next, students have to register with JoSAA for participation in the counselling process.

IIT Ropar M.Tech Admissions 2025

Interested candidates are offered IIT Ropar M.Tech admissions in 14 different specialisations for two years duration. IIT Ropar M.Tech courses are offered in branches like Computer Science and Engineering, Power Engineering, Communication and Signal Processing, Biomedical Engineering, Thermal and Fluids Engineering and more.

IIT Ropar M.Tech Admission Process 2025

For IIT Ropar M.Tech admission, candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria.
Next, candidates have to secure a valid score in GATE.
