It is quite great. It has a very well-designed curriculum and classrooms, and the library is also very well-updated with books from every domain. The hostel provides students with a comfortable living experience and makes earning enjoyable.
NIT Jalandhar has good infrastructure with well-developed labs and classrooms. There are three hostels for first-year students: BH1, BH2, and BH5. BH1 and BH2 are better than BH5 because the food and facilities are much better in BH1 and BH2, but BH1 and BH2 are four-seater, while BH5 is a two-seater.

The qualifying percentile for general category candidates is typically around 93.23. So securing admission to NIT Jalandhar or NIT Hamirpur is highly unlikely mate.
NIT Jalandhar considers the OBC-NCL rank for admission under the OBC category, not the CRL rank. If you applied under the OBC-NCL category, your admission will be based on your OBC rank. However, meeting the cutoff is essential, so check the official JoSAA counseling cutoffs for eligibility.
The Production Engineering branch is a great option to consider at NIT Jalandhar, NIT Calicut, and NIT Kurukshetra.
