The NITJ has a separate login portal on the official website v1.nitj.ac.in/erp/login. Students can log in to the NITJ by using the same username and password that was generated in the beginning. B.Tech is the only programme offered at the undergraduate level course of study for candidates in a variety of streams. NIT Jalandhar B.Tech course duration is 4 years and they are offered in full-time mode.

• Candidates seeking admission to the courses should meet eligibility criteria and must appear for the CAT/MAT/CMAT. 
• the candidate needs to apply for NIT Jalandhar admissions online in the application form. 
• Admission to self-sponsored seats is done through NITJ test. 
• Post the score rank or entrance test, the candidates will be shortlisted for the next round of group discussions and personal interviews.

NIT Jalandhar PhD Admission Process 2026 

• Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria and fill up application form for NIT Jalandhar Ph.D admissions from the official website.. 
• Candidate must appear for the written test and secure at least 40% marks. GATE/CSIR/UGC-NET qualified candidates are exempted from the written test.
• Post the written exam or entrance test, the candidate needs to appear for a research presentation and personal interview.
• Based on the funding available and research compatibility of students and supervising faculty, the candidates are awarded admission into the programme.

Based on the results of the entrance exam, NIT Jalandhar provides admissions counselling for the chosen degree. JoSAA will manage the B.Tech. counselling for the JEE Main test. To be considered for admission to various postgraduate and doctorate programmes at NIT Jalandhar, candidates must participate in the relevant counselling process.
