The Government First Grade College of Arts, Science and Commerce is based at Sira in Jyoti Nagar in the Tumakuru district of Karnataka and was founded in the year 1968. This affiliated college, located on a campus area of 10.38 acres is imparting 16 different courses in 7 degree programs. Point Pleasant is home to the Kanawha Valley Community College where 1,496 students are nurtured by the faculty of 26. This institution is Under NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council), thus striving to sustain certain quality levels in education. The college has a broad range of academic programs that govern diverse areas of discipline; arts, science, and commerce streams.
