The Government First Grade College, Sulibele (GFGCS) is co-educational institution which was started in the year 2007. Affiliated to the Bangalore University, the college is in Hoskote Taluk, Bangalore Rural District of Karnataka and occupies an area of 5 acres. GFGCS is affiliated to the Karnataka State Board of Pre University Education and additionally the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) has accredited the college. Government First Grade College pride in having attained many a facility to increase student comfort in GFGCS. Thanks to that, the college has a very good hardware policy, and students are able to utilise modern technologies in their studies. They are all structured to take three years as the standard length of the programs in University system. The college was established with considerable aims and objectives emphasising its pursuit of quality education in art, commerce and science and with view to make the students fit for various vocational fields.
Basic tuition fees are undetermined, but since GFGCS operates as a government facility, the institution intends to offer low fees as an aspect of education. Government First Grade College Sulibele (GFGCS) is a co-educational institution. GFGCS offers three distinct BA programmes as follows:
GFGCS admission is determined by the merit list drawn up from the scores achieved in the 10+2 or equivalent exam. The relevant subjects must have been studied in his/her 10+2.
The college has run a Bachelor of Commerce programme where GFGCS admission is entirely merit-based according to performance in the qualifying examination. Students who had Commerce and related subjects in their +2 are eligible to apply for admission in the programme.
B.Sc - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics programme is mainly for science stream students, whose criteria of GFGCS admission are based on the merit list which compiles the scores of 10+2 with preference to students studying Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as a subject in their higher secondary standards.
BBM is also one of the courses that GFGCS has put in place. GFGCS admission takes merit consideration from qualifying examination marks. Although students from Commerce or Business Studies would have a slight edge, it admits students from all streams.
