Government Homoeopathic Medical College in Bhopal was founded in 1990 and this college is one of the most reputed college in Madhya Pradesh to provide education in homeopathy. Sited in the scenic MACT Hills, near Kaliasot Dam area, this affiliated college is spread across an area of 50 acres. Recognised by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH), the institute offers a wide Gamut of programmes in homeopathic system of medicine. The college takes a total of 66 students and has 47 members of the faculty which helps to maintain the student-faculty ratio. The institution has both under and post graduate programmes with 8 courses offered at two levels of degree standard in homeopathic system of medicine.

Government Homoeopathic Medical College provides complete homeopathic medical courses. The institute offers its programmes in both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and the total of courses offered are eight. Some of these are the BHMS at the undergraduate level and several MD courses at Postgraduate level-Practice of Medicine & MD Repertory etc. All courses are full time, regular courses and are aimed at providing deep knowledge in homeopathy along with effective practical training. Total intake approved for the college is 66 which is spread across programmes of the college thus making sure that the quality, attention and focus is given to each and every student.

This college follows the admission process under which admissions are offered to the Homoeopathic Medical College, strictly based on the merit of the candidate. For the BHMS programme, the admission is centralised through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG ACPMC (NEET UG). To apply the aspirant has to clear the NEET UG exam in order to get the admission in the concerned college. For postgraduate courses in AYUSH including all MD specialisations, admissions are made through the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) only. The AIAPGET is conducted for the purpose of screening candidates who aspire to complete their post graduate homeopathy courses. The college follows the calendar and procedures of admission provided by the concerned examination boards. Interested learner are encouraged to monitor the NEET UG and AIAPGET examination schedule which is normally released in ample time by the exam administrators.
