Government Law College was established in 1984, Sirohi, Rajasthan. The aims and objectives of this distinguished institution which is duly approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) are to educate legal professionals for more than three decades. The college has student strength of 334 and faculty strength of 5, which makes the student-teacher ratio good, which means all students get individual as well as quality attention. The institution currently offers one programme, the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with approved enrolment of 120 students to train the functionaries of the legal system.

The Government Law College claims to host student friendly facility infrastructure which augment the learning abilities of students. It is the library that appears to be an important asset of the institution, it boasts a collection of over 6,000 books and over 1,000 journals and periodicals which cuts across all the general and specialised fields. This comprises and text books’ references back volumes of journals and reports in addition to offering legal journals to meet students’ research needs. As for the aspiring lawyers, the college has a special Moot Court room which has the seating capacity of 60, which has all essential furniture of legal professionals. Besides, there is an auditorium which creates an academically charged environment for seminars and other events.

This three years curriculum is intended to equip the students with legal knowledge and practice. On the total number of students, the college has had 334 students, and only 120 students for the program of LLB.
