Officially there is no any defense quota reservation in Government Medical college and Hospital, Chandigarh. There are total 100 seats. You can check the distribution of the seat with the given below link on Page No. 18.

As per the official,  The condition of 12th passed schools/colleges recognized by the Chandigarh Administration is waived off in respect of wards of serving defense personnel/ex-servicemen.

To predict the safe marks is nearly not possible as it depends on many factors like the difficulty level of the paper, the number of students appeared in the exam and all that. Also the cutoffs change every year.
Well, to get admission in a government college your score should be minimum 550-600+ and getting such marks or even more can get you a government college seat. So work for it... Keep your preparation high and study smart- prepare well.!

NRI - 8 seats

SC Category - 6 seats

Person with disability - 1 seat

General - 35 seats
