Government Polytechnic, Baloda Bazar, was started in the year 2014, situated at Vill-Sakari, Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh. This government owned institute located at a 10 acre campus is AICTE approved. The polytechnic offers three diploma programmes in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical engineering with a total enrolment of 376 students. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: Like the other two, the diploma in Mechanical Engineering is also an approved intake of 60 students. It is for three years, and candidates need to have passed SSC with at least 35% marks.
