Government Science College, Gandhinagar, was established in 1970. It is one of the best colleges in Gujarat. This co-ed college is affiliated with Gujarat University and accredited by NAAC. The spread over campus of this institution measures 49 acres, creating an atmosphere that is congenial to study and growth. The student-teachers' ratio is also reasonably healthy and it hosts 34 faculty members and 1,522 students in total.

Government Science College, Gandhinagar, has a range of resources put in place to help in the development of intellectual and personal capacities of students. The library is the richest collection of scholarly resources. It is open around the clock with 75,000 volumes and 6,000 journals available for lending. Internet access on computers is also availed and supports a positive e-learning environment. The laboratories were made available with the latest equipment, materials, and containers to provide on-hand experience for students in doing scientific investigations. For those who would need to stay, there were hostel houses for both boys and girls separately. 

It has two courses: a three-year full-time B.Sc. programme and a two-year full-time M.Sc Chemistry. It caters to students who want to pursue both undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the sciences.

see due to covid 19 pandemic the form filling process has delayed in many university or institute for ug or pg courses admission process. you need to search in the official website of respective college and first need to register your self with mail id and phone number. since many of the banks branches has closed you may need to pay the fees in online mood using credit/debit/e wallet.
