The Central Library is an important educational center of the College and works as a Central Library for departmental Libraries of colleges. Fifteen departmental libraries in college for postgraduate students in different subjects. The Central Library was established in 1958 with the establishment of the college and with few books book. The Library of the college is well equipped with the latest information technologies and web-based information, E-books and E-Journals search, OPAC, and internet browsing as it is well connected through a LAN/ BSNL leased line. This library has connected on LAN with all semi-automated facilities to its users. The library is linked with NLIST consortiums for online books and journals. The Library maintains more than one lake collection of books, reference books, theses, monographs, back volumes, journals, audio-visuals, and e-resources. Brail Books and Internet facilities for physically challenged persons are available in the Library through the U G C Scheme of the Qual Opportunity Centre for Colleges. This was possible with the help of the University Grant Commission and CPE scheme. The higher Education Department of the Chhattisgarh Government supported its infrastructure development and provided other facilities.
Students are provided opportunities to participate in various games and sports such as races, marathons, cross-country races, table tennis, chess, kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, boxing, swimming, cricket, archery, Badminton, football, basketball, badminton, Netball, Kho kho, wrestling, softball, judo, handball, hockey, weight lifting, taekwondo, etc.
The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
The college also provides good classroom facilities for all the students.
The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is the Central Sector Scheme of the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports. The Motto of NSS "Not Me But You", reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service. NSS helps the students develop & an appreciation of other people's points of view and also shows consideration towards other living beings. The philosophy of the NSS is a good doctrine in this motto, which underlines the belief that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society as a whole and therefore, the NSS volunteers shall strive for the well-being of the society.
