With an aim of developing skilled professional especially in tool engineering and precision manufacturing, a Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) was started in Mangalore in the year 1994. Currently GTTC Mangalore has two types of specialised diploma programmes to meet the increasing need for technical competencies in manufacturing industries.
