Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed.: Guru Har Krishan College of Education offers a two-year regular B.Ed. course for an intake capacity of 100 seats. Admission to the B.Ed. program is done either on the basis of merit, considering the marks of the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, or according to the selection procedure of the State Government, UT Administration, and the University to which it is affiliated.
D.El.Ed.: Another important course offered by the college is Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.), requiring 50 seats for admission. The course runs for 2 years on a regular basis. Admission under the procedure is generally equally applicable to B.Ed. programs. Selection is by merit, based on qualifying examination marks and/or entrance examination marks.
