The 5-Year Integrated Degree Course in Law is primarily designed to be profession or career-oriented. Law as a profession offers numerous career opportunities for students to explore, making it a highly attractive field.
Students pursuing the B.A.LL.B. course at HLC are exposed to a diverse range of law branches. The innovative curriculum followed by the college not only adheres to the recommendations of the Bar Council of India but also includes practical subjects such as Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Criminal Law, Insurance Law, Environmental Law, and Business Law. Through academic activities, the program focuses on developing skills in legal services, advocacy, legislation, law reforms, parliamentary practices, and encourages interdisciplinary studies.
Eligibility Criteria
For admission to the 5-year B.A.LL.B. Course, a candidate must pass the Higher Secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate. SC/ST candidates must obtain at least 40% marks, while OBC candidates require at least 42% marks in aggregate in their Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent examination.
