The honors course in Physics not only provides an in-depth view of topics relating to physics but also integrates them with electronics, mathematics, and chemistry. In order to cater to the queries and expectations of the students, the department has well-equipped laboratories dedicated to physics, electronics, and computer-based experiments. The electronics honors course initiates its students into the basics of this potent and diverse field and also offers scope for specialization in optional areas. The course prepares students with a broad foundation in fundamental principles of Mathematics, Science, and Electronics, and the ability to apply this knowledge to understand the design, analysis, and implementation of real-life complex systems. Students build on their strong foundation by engaging in experiential learning co-related to classroom teaching. The mission of the Department is, to develop human potential fully so that intellectually capable and imaginatively gifted leaders can emerge in a range of professions, to develop academic integrity and accountability, to train and develop students to be good and able citizens, capable of making significant contribution towards meeting the developmental needs and priorities of the Nation and to inculcate in students moral values and leadership qualities, such that they shall always uphold and promote a high social order and be ready and willing to work for the emancipation of the poor, the needy and the underprivileged

Qualifying examinations for the purpose of admission to the first year of undergraduate courses offered by the University of Delhi shall be Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto. The applicants seeking admission to the undergraduate courses offered by the University should have passed the qualifying examination obtaining minimum marks as specified for each of the courses in subsequent sections.
55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and 50% or more marks in one compulsory language.
A well-equipped college infrastructure is essential for providing students with a conducive learning environment. This includes spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and a vast library with digital resources. Recreational facilities like sports grounds, gymnasium, and cafeteria help students relax and recharge. Modern digital infrastructure, such as Wi-Fi connectivity and computer labs, facilitate seamless learning. Safety features like CCTV surveillance, fire alarms, and emergency response plans ensure a secure campus. Accessible infrastructure, including ramps and elevators, cater to students with disabilities.
The infrastructure is a bit old but the college is working on it and the classrooms can look a bit like school classrooms, but the labs are quite reliable with good equipment and staff. The library is the best part of the college, with air conditioning and books for all courses, rules and regulations, and a good environment for studying
Libraries are well furnished and all the equipment is the latest. Large classrooms and corridors are present in all departments. Classes are AC-furnished, large in size, and well arranged. Boards are clearly visible on the last bench as well. Different canteens are also available.
