Degree wise Admission Process

B.A. English Literature: The sanctioned intake for this undergraduate course is 64. Admission is made according to the performance of a candidate in the 10+2 examination, basically concentrating on the English language proficiency.

B.Com: The Bachelor of Commerce course is also sanctioned to take in 64 students. Candidates with a baseline commerce subject in their higher secondary education are preferred although students may come from other streams.

B.Sc Food Science and Nutrition: This specialized program has an intake of 48 students. Candidates must have taken science subjects in their 10+2, especially biology and chemistry.

B.Sc Fashion Designing and Apparel Making: This course has a strength of 48 and caters to students looking for creative minds that have the passion for fashion. An advantage shall be given to those who had Arts or science at their 10+2 level.

B.Sc Computer Science: Also given an intake of 48, this requires that a candidate have a 10+2 math and basic computer concept knowledge.

M.A. English Literature: This is the postgraduate program with a capacity to enroll 30 students. A candidate should possess a degree in English Literature or comparable disciplines at the bachelor's level.

M.Com: The Master of Commerce program usually has admission opening for about 30 candidates. One usually has to obtain a B.Com degree to qualify.

M.Sc Dietetics and Food Management: This is a specialized program at the master's level and accommodates 25 candidates. Candidates should hold a B.Sc degree in Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.

Ph.D Commerce: Candidates wishing to pursue a doctoral study in Commerce must have a master's degree in Commerce or a pertinent field. The admission process may involve interviews or by submission of research proposals.
