48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Candidate shall be an Indian National or Persons of Indian Origin.
- In respect of Under-graduate Professional Courses in Engineering and Pharmacy, the candidate should have completed 16years of age as on 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being conducted.
- The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana or Andhra Pradesh or Other State equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biology subjects and obtained at-least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together/ (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) and should have secured a rank at the Common Entrance Test conducted by TS state authorityTSCHE
Admission Details
The admission pattern to B. Tech is as follows: The minimum qualification for admission to the first year of the B. Tech course is a pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana State/Other State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects.
- 70 % of the seats are allotted based on merit in the TS EAMCET.
30 % of the seats are earmarked for Management/NRI candidates.
