Functional and adequate infrastructure.
College Infrastructure
The college provides all essential facilities, including decent classrooms and a teaching hospital. Diagnostic and clinical equipment are regularly used in day-to-day practice. Although the infrastructure is old in parts, it functions well. The hospital is busy, offering wide exposure to varied cases. Hostels and library are satisfactory, with improvements ongoing.

College Infrastructure
IGMC has well-equipped labs, lecture halls, and a functional hospital with modern diagnostic tools. The hospital setup ensures exposure to a large number of patients daily. Though some buildings are older, renovations are ongoing. Library and hostel facilities are adequate with good internet access. Clinical departments are functional and busy.

College Infrastructure
IGMC has a blend of old heritage buildings and new modern blocks. The hospital and academic blocks are well-equipped for learning and treatment. Lecture halls have decent seating and audio-visual facilities. The library is spacious and stocked with essential medical books and journals. Hostel and mess facilities are satisfactory, with improvements ongoing. Overall, infrastructure is functional and supports academic needs well.

You have not mentioned the course you are interested in Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla. For MBS candidates have to apply and appear for NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). Candidates with required NEET percentile will have to register for AIQ NEET counselling. Then you have to participate in the counselling process conducted by The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Hello Aspirant,
If we look at previous year trends, to get admission IGMC Shimla you need to have ranks between 1198-2005 for general category. While if we look at NEET PG you need to score around 500-1300 rank for getting MD general medicine. And subsequently higher ranks can get other MD courses.
