Hello sir, I have scored 2937 th rank in nchm jee am I eligible for getting admission in IHM mumbai?

Hi there!!!

According to your rank in the NCHMJEE, you can get admission in IHM Mumbai if you are in SC/ST/OBC category. If you are under General category you can't get admission in IHM Mumbai.

There are other IHM's such as IHM Lucknow, IHM Hyderabad, IHM Jaipur, IHM Bhubaneswar, IHM Bhopal etc. where you can get admission.

Seeing your rank and previous year cuttoff of NCHM JEE cutoff,you seems to have less chance of getting IHM.Rank should be under 8k under general category for IHM.Visit below mention link to know previous year cuttoff of NCHM:

My rank is 3022. Will i get in ihm kolkata?

Hello Diksha,

It's very tough to give the answer because you didn't mentioned your catagory. Let's assume that if your from general category then you need to get below AIR1000

If your from OBC category it's around 5000

If your a SC or ST candidate you need to get a rank below 7,000 to 15,000

So if you are from reserved category you will get admission for sure.

According to it, it shows that your chances are tough & last years cut off AI rank was 13879(u may get, theres still a hope). Scored 1578 rank at nchmct .can I get ihm Bangalore?

Hello Aspirant,

The closing ranks for IHM Bangalore in the last few years were as follows for a general candidate -

2016 - 871

2015 - 1600

2014 - 778

So, if you are a general candidate then it might be difficult for you to get a seat here but if you are from reserved caste or PWD quota you can easily get a seat in IHM Bangalore with this rank.

Can I get in any of the top 5 IHM's with a score of 546-552 out of 800 in NCHMCT JEE ?

First of all the NCHMCT- JEE ntrance examination paper conducted by the National Testing agency is of 200 Marks and the marks cutoffs are not released by them. Only the rank cutoffs are available for students. You can get top Institute of hotel management's with a rank of below 2000.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is alright compared to a government college but some things need renovations and i have heard it is being done. Hopefully it would be completed soon and the college would have better infrastructure than before

College Infrastructure

IHM Pusa has a decent infrastructure, College auditorium is good but the classes are not that well maintained, that can be a point of improvement. Kitchens, Bakery, Restaurant of college is fine and has all necessary equipment’s to help students understand.

IHM pusa is best for practical knowledge and placements

Infrastructure is best of IHM Pusa . It provides best quality of classrooms and practical rooms. Wifi speed is good and well - maintained . Food provided by IHM pusa is Hygienic and the living spaces is clean .
