Hi Ishita, hope you are doing well, the sole reason for changes in the marking scheme is to encourage the students to score better and I don't think it gives rise to less competition because the talent remains the same anyhow. Yes, with more than 120+ marks you can get admitted in the ihm Mumbai.
I think it helps you!!!
Keep Smiling:)
Wish you good luck!:)

Hey Priyanshu.
The cut off ranks for admission in IHM Bhopal through NCHMJEE in the previous year for the SC category was as given below-
2014- 12872
2015- 18751
2016- 14085
Hence as per the previous year trends you would require a rank in a similar range for a fair chance of admission in this college under the SC category.

Hello Sahil,
Both institutions have their pros and cons which I am listing but if you go by the repute in Indian Hotel Industry, IHMs especially top ones are considered way better than IIHMs.
Kindly make your decision based upon the campus you are likely to get of IHMs or IIHMs.
Hope this answers your query, feel free to ask for more info.
Hi,
As far as I know , according to the curriculum , they do not have any foriegn language courses in IHM. IHM is known globally for institution of excellence for skill and knowledge. In order to get admission you need to All India Joint Entrance Exam of NCHMCT.
They have been an autonomos institution and been a top institution for Hotel administration.
In order to apply, you need to take up NCHMCT.
Here there is a link which will redirect to the syllabus page in their official website. That is the course curriculum for any of the IHM institutes. The only way to get into IHMis through NCHMCT JEE.

NCHMCT , also known as National Council for Hotel Managemnet and Catering Technology Joint entrance exam which is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) . They are autonomus body through which a student can apply to any of food tech or catering technology courses.
The application for UG programmes have been started. You need to fill and take up the test and then apply for IHM . They take admissions through NCHMCT JEE scores.
The above link is of course curriculum for 3 year Bachelors course in Hotel administration. The application has been opened on january 15 , 2019.
Kindly go through that curriculum. It will give you brief about course curriculum. Later you can choose to take up or not.
Hope this helped with your query,
For any queries or diubts, you can revert back here anytime.
Good Luck.
Hello Abhishek,
During the course of three years while you pursue your Bsc degree in IHM, there will be many subjects. But there are four subjects that will be constant during the whole course.
Front office
House keeping
Food and Beverage service
Food production
First year you have to study basics along with classes of bakery, hotel engineering, computers and basics of accounts.
Second year mainly four subjects will be there, main focus will be mass cooking. Hotel account is a important subject here. Here you will be exposed to industrial training.
Third year is mostly management based. Here focus will be on strategic management, cocktails, yield management etc.
I hope this helps you. Good luck!
Infrastructure is alright compared to a government college but some things need renovations and i have heard it is being done. Hopefully it would be completed soon and the college would have better infrastructure than before
IHM Pusa has a decent infrastructure, College auditorium is good but the classes are not that well maintained, that can be a point of improvement. Kitchens, Bakery, Restaurant of college is fine and has all necessary equipment’s to help students understand.
Infrastructure is best of IHM Pusa . It provides best quality of classrooms and practical rooms. Wifi speed is good and well - maintained . Food provided by IHM pusa is Hygienic and the living spaces is clean .
