ITM Meerut: Admission 2025, Courses, Fees, Cutoff, Placements, Ranking

Institute of Technology and Management, Meerut (ITM Meerut) is a well-established institution, providing a large number of engineering, management, and diploma courses. The admission in ITM Meerut is systematic and merit-based, providing opportunities to deserving candidates to study their desired courses.

The intake time of ITM Meerut normally starts in the months of May-June for the program commencing from August-September. The admissions are taken through various all-India-level entrance tests depending on the program. The admission is offered mostly against scores achieved in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), a very widely accepted entry examination in Indian engineering. The admission to other courses, i.e., MBA and diploma programs, is offered against scores obtained in the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Examination (UPCET).

Eligibility is different for different courses. For B.Tech courses, students should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry as mandatory subjects. A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination is generally necessary, though the percentage differs with the program.

Application Process

ITM Meerut application process is different for each program:

For B.Tech courses:

1. Clear the JEE Main exam.

2. Go to the ITM Meerut official website and fill in the online application form.

3. Pay the application fee mentioned on the website.

4. Upload 10th and 12th mark sheets, JEE Main score card, and other related certificates.

5. Send the filled application form.

6. Wait for the institute to release the merit list.

7. On the basis of selection, go to the institute for document verification and admission procedure.

For MBA and Diploma courses:

1. Clear the UPCET exam.

2. Go to the official website of ITM Meerut and submit the online application form for the desired course.

3. Pay the application fee as indicated on the website.

4. Uploading documents if required, like UPCET score card, mark sheets relevant to the course, and other certificates.

5. Submission of the completed application form.

6. Waiting for the institute to declare the merit list.

7. If admitted, join the institute along with documents verification and admission process.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: ITM Meerut provides five B.Tech courses: Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. These courses are offered against JEE Main ranks. The total number of seats available in all the B.Tech courses is 240, consisting of 60 seats in each of CSE, ME, and CE, and 30 seats in each of IT and ECE.

MBA: ITM Meerut's full-time MBA program takes in 60 seats. Admission is via UPCET scores followed by any other selection procedures as decided by the institute.

Diploma: ITM Meerut provides two diploma courses - Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering and Diploma in Electronics Engineering. Both of the courses have an intake capacity of 60 and 30 seats respectively. Admission to these courses is also done on UPCET scores.
