Islamia College of Education, Hyderabad Admission Process

Islamia College of Education, Hyderabad, is an eminent institution for training would-be teachers. It offers two major fully-fledged programs in teacher education: the two-year full-time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed); and Diploma in Education (D.Ed). Being an affiliated college, it scrupulously follows performance indicators set for it and is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), which grants it the authority to function in quality teacher education.

At Islamia College of Education, admissions are made on merit based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance test. D.Ed (Diploma in Education):

The D.Ed curriculum is designed to train teachers for the primary and upper primary sections. Admission into this program is also merit-based, with consideration of the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Regarding this program, the college is bound by the policies established by the state government/UT Administration. With 50 seats available, the D.Ed imparting essential knowledge and skills for aspiring primary school teachers.
