Jaat College of Education, Karnal, was established in the year 2007 as an affiliated college in Kunjpura, Haryana. Currently, the institute provides education courses from its vast and green 3-acre campus adhering to all the norms set by NCTE. A total of 189 students can be catered to, including of all categories, which means students can get a good amount of exposure to the fellow beings here, and the faculty will be 10 in number, to be able to provide a concentrated learning environment.
There are many facilities in the college that are planned to make the learning experience of the student more amicable. The college has a well-equipped library acting as a centre for knowledge that provides a comprehensive range of resources including books, periodicals, CDs, and some related e-books. Jaat College of Education runs a total of two courses, both full time. The B.Ed. program has an approved intake of 100, and D.El.Ed offers 50 seats. Both programs are well designed to make students a successful teaching and educational administrator. Because the college only focuses on these two programs, it has specialized in attention towards teacher education and development.

Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed program has an intake of 100 seats. Admission is based on merit, considering the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The program is open to candidates who have completed their graduation or post-graduation in the relevant subject area.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
The D.El.Ed program offers 50 seats. Admission is merit-based, considering marks from the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Candidates should have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board to be eligible.
