Jawaharlal Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College (JNHMC), Vadodara, is one of the constituent colleges of Parul University that is devoted to the cause of higher education and learning in homoeopathy. JNHMC has courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in homoeopathy,  The structure of JNHMC admissions for the courses offered is in consonance with the approved courses of the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH). Usually, the academic year commences around August-September with regard to keeping admission sessions before these months, although other dates will differ every year. 

Applicants are therefore encouraged to check the college website or get in touch with the admissions office regarding the latest information on application deadlines and important dates. Candidates must have completed 10+2 exams with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the core subjects from a recognised board. The selection is based on score in qualifying examination and/or performance in relevant entrance tests. In the case of postgraduate programmes, the applicant should possess BHMS degree that is awarded by a recognised institution.

Jawaharlal Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College's application process includes the following steps:

• Locate the admissions section and select the relevant programme, namely BHMS or MD Homoeopathy. 
• Fill in the on-line application with correct personal and academic details.
• Upload the required documents; these would include:
• Follow the online procedure to pay the application fee as stated on the website.

• The shortlisted candidates would then be called for counseling or interviews depending on the programme and available seat.

JNHMC Degree wise Admission Process

The college has an undergraduate course and 5 specialisations in postgraduate MD. These courses are:

JNHMC BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) Admission Process

BHMS is the flagship undergraduate programme at JNHMC, and lasts 5.5 years including 1-year internship. The college offers 100 seats for this programme. Admission is based on the performance in the 10+2 examination and the applicable entrance tests. The total fee for the BHMS programme is Rs. 526,500.

JNHMC MD Homoeopathy Admission Process

JNHMC offers several specialisations in MD Homoeopathy under which there is 6 seats available for each of them:

• MD Homoeopathic Materia Medica
• MD Homeopathy Organon of Medicine
• MD Homeopathy Practice of Medicine
• MD Homeopathy Repertory
• MD Homeopathy Pharmacy Practice

Total fee payable for all MD programmes is Rs. 630,000. Admission to these postgraduate courses is mostly based on the student's performance in BHMS and score on the relevant PG entrance examinations.
