Have a question related to JB Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata ?

Hello,

------- Since you have Domicile of Bihar and the college in which you seek seat is a Government College in West Bengal.

Hence you will have to participate in All India Quota, AIQ Counseling for Ayurvedic College to get seat in the college.

-------- Now according to previous year data for All India Quota, AIQ Counseling for Ayurvedic Colleges, last candidate from OBC Category to get seat in the JB Roy State Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata, West Bengal had All India Rank 33,729.

------- With Marks you have scored, your All India Rank would be around 80k and hence your chances of getting seat in the aforementioned college is very grim.

------ Cut-offs for colleges change every year depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS/ BAMS  seat matrix 2021

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs for colleges is expected to  increase compared to last year.

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.

You haven't mentioned your Category. Nevertheless, the General Qualifying cut offs for 2020 have been as follows:

General Category/EWS: 720-147

OBC: 146-113

SC: 146-113

ST: 146-113

General Category/EWS-PWD: 146-129

With a score of 185, it is difficult for a seat in any course that conducts admission based on NEET score including JB Roy Ayurvedic College. But if you have decided about studying Medicine, you have to reappear for NEET in 2021 and score real good. That will be the only option because with this score, you cannot even get Private Medical Colleges. So you may have to consider appearing for NEET 2021. If you want to reappear for NEET 2021, you can prepare with the help of our NEET Knockout package: https://learn.careers360.com/knockout-neet-may/
