Jhargram Government Medical College and Hospital, is a state government-funded medical institution in the district of Jhargram, West Bengal. Being one of the newest colleges, the management of JGMCH aspires to maintain high standards of medical education and health care delivery. The entrance process for students at JGMCH follows all the guidelines prescribed by the Medical Council of India regarding entrance procedures of all medical colleges and universities throughout the country. Degree wise Admission Process

MBBS: The admission to the MBBS course in Jhargram Government Medical College and Hospital is strictly through NEET merit. The college has 100 seats for the MBBS course. The general eligibility criteria include:

• Qualifying the NEET exam with a minimum percentile prescribed by the NMC
• Passing 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main subjects
• Being at least 17 years of age, as on December 31st, of the admission year
• Should have satisfied any additional eligibility criteria declared by the State Medical Education Authority, West Bengal.
