Kanchan Degree College, Raebareli, started in the year 2016, is a symbol of education in the state of Uttar Pradesh. Situated in the small town of Pure Gautaman, this affiliated college is a relatively a nascent but rapidly growing college in the area. The college enrols 133 students and faculty of 11 members, which makes the learning atmosphere and environment compact. Admission procedure in Kanchan Degree College differs based on the Course. Till date, most of the courses may have covered merit basis probably with regard to the marks scores in the qualifying examination. But, in the case of the D.El.Ed programme, this college has a procedure to follow. Eligibility criterion for this course involves performance in the qualifying exam and/or an admission test. Any other selection process is also considered by the college as per policy of state commission Government/ UT administration. This makes sure that anybody or any candidate that deserves it, get a fair chance to enrol for the intended courses.
