Kaniska College of Education, Bankura Admission Process

Kaniska College of Education, Bankura, is one of the best colleges for teacher training. The college also has a structured admission process in place to select competent candidates for its various educational courses. Kaniska College of Education is an affiliated college that has gained National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approval and follows the merit-based admission systеm that's provided by the state government and affiliated university. Degree wise Admission Process

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed): B.Ed training program of two years at Kaniska College of Education has been a conventional course in the teacher molding endeavors for modern-day teachers. Admissions to the B.Ed program are through the merit process, and marks in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination performance are considered for selection. The constituting body of the process is the Central Selection Committee of the affiliating university. This offered program has an enrollment of 100 students.

Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed): It is also a regular two-year course from Kaniska College. The selection for this course is under the District Selection Committee. It also recommends merit-based consideration on marks obtained in qualifying examinations and/or entrance tests. Like the B.Ed, this course enrolls a hundred batches.

All these courses are meant for advancement of the aspiring teachers in building skills and knowledge for their effective roles in the sector.
