66 MonthsBachelor of Medicine and surgery (M.B.B.S.) is a duration of four and a half years plus 1-year compulsory rotating internship course offered by Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore affiliated by Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal and approved by the National Medical Commission.
Eligibility Criteria
Indian Boards-
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English individually from a recognized Board, with a minimum 50 % marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology
- Candidates are advised to check NEET 2024 Brochure for the final eligibility criteria
A level-
• Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the ‘A’ Levels and English in the ‘AS’ Level
• Minimum requirement is a ‘D’ grade individually in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Biotechnology
- Candidates are advised to check the minimum grade requirements for registration in their respective countries
IB-
• Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
• IB Diploma or IB Certificate with minimum 4 points in each subject and overall minimum of 24 points • Minimum 3 subjects in HL and 3 subjects in SL
• Minimum two Science subjects in HL
• Third Science subject and English can be at HL or SL

Life at Kasturba medical College, Mangalore
College Infrastructure
The college provides numerous facilities for students. KMC Mangalore facilities are provided to students so that they don’t feel any kind of inconvenience while they are on campus. Boys hostel, girls hostel, gym, cafeteria are some of the KMC Mangalore facilities. The college has a gym so that students can take care of their physical well being and can be active in some kind of physical activity. KMC Mangalore library covers 2025 sq meters on three floors and can accommodate 500 students
Great academics but poor campus life

Cleanliness is maintained very well, all classes have air conditioning and are up to date with technology and design. The labs are very nicely kept, no broken or unopen things are kept here and there.

Big and spacious campus , with all facilities , projectors , labs etc with technicians etc the libaraby is spacois and has the books related to the field of medicine The hostels are great and the mess is hygenic and the food tastes delicious.
