Krishna College of Education, Bijnor, it is a great college for teacher education which is affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), India Krishna College of Education Bijnor. This college provides courses appropriate for the prospective educationists. The admission into the college is completely fair and democratic and is done as per the directives issued by the state government and that of the affiliated university.
Two types of programmes are primarily conducted in B.Ed.: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The admission is usually held in the first month of the academic calendar although specific date might differ from year to year; hence, it is always advisable to check with the college for dates.
The B.Ed and D.El.Ed admissions mainly work on the basis of merit. The merit is determined by the marks scored by a student in the qualifying examination and/or any entrance examination as per the stipulations laid down by the government of Uttar Pradesh and the university to which he/she is affiliated.
Application Process

Application Form: A candidate for admission is required to obtain and fill the application form. This can be done either online or at the college campus.
Document Submission: The applicant submits the required attested documents along with the application form. An applicant must include generally:
Mark sheets of qualifying examinations (10th, 12th, and graduation for B.Ed; 10th and 12th for D.El.Ed)
Valid ID proof
Recent passport-size photographs
Any other certificates or documents as specified by the college
Entrance Examination: As per the state government's policy, candidates may be required to sit for an entrance examination.
Merit List Creation: In the preparation of the merit list, the college considers the performance of the candidates in both the qualifying examination and/or entrance test.
Counseling and Admission: Short-listed candidates are invited for a counseling session. Options of which course they would want to enroll in—B.Ed or D.El.Ed—are discussed with the candidates. The final admission is merit-based and subject to availability of seats.
Fee Payment: The student, then, is liable to deposit the prescribed amount of fees to the college in order to confirm his admission.
Degree-wise Admisssion Process
For a Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed):
The B.Ed program in K.C.E. is full-time for two years and the sanctioned intake capacity of B.Ed is that of 100 students. Admission to B.Ed programs was based on merit derived from marks in the qualifying examination and entrance examination(s). Selection of the candidates was also based on the guidelines set out by the State Government and Affiliate University. A candidate is only eligible for a B.Ed. if he/she has cleared his/her graduate/post-graduation from a recognized university.
About Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed):
It is also a full-time two-year course run by the institute. Therefore, merit-based admissions will also be considered with qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection process thereby follows the policies set by the state government or UT administration. Generally, completion of 10+2 from an approved board suffices for eligibility.
