36 MonthsBachelor of Arts (BA) Honours in Sociology is a full-time three-year undergraduate degree course offered by the University of Calcutta, Kolkata.
Two classrooms and one practical room are allotted for the department. Two Seminar libraries with a large collection of books for the students and also for the teachers are an asset to the department.. Four computers with internet facilities are available for the students.
Eligibility Criteria
A student must have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education/State Board or an examination recognized as equivalent thereto.

Admission is conducted strictly on the basis of merit.

College Infrastructure
Since it is a government college the infrastructure is not upto the mark. Smart boards were not available and the benches were also not properly polished , the classes are not well maintained but the rooms are large and cool as well
My experience is highly satisfactory.
College Infrastructure
My college have adequate infrastructure facilities. There are sufficient classroom libraries in our college. I don't know about sports centre. Hostel is available in our college. There is an availability of wi fi in our college.
