Mandi based Lord Buddha College of Education established in 2007 is a one of the reputed Teacher Training institution situated in Upper Bhambla, Himachal Pradesh. This co-educationalcollege is a part of Himachal Pradesh University and is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Placed within a plot of 1 acre, the college is currently conducting classes for 200 students along with 17 faculty members. It teaches only one course, the B.Ed, of which it has an approved student capacity of 100 students making it a trainer institution for teachers.

The college also has different facilities with different styles in order to facilitate the academic achievement of its students. The library which is a core facility of academic research holds 5582 books in various areas of commerce sciences sciences and humanities. The college also has a subscription to twelve periodicals and six dailies including Hindi and English for the benefit of updates and researches of the students. The “Book Bank” scheme the library brings out lets worthy students borrow their syllabi for the entire course of the year. In the same regard, the college has well-equipped laboratories with various gadgets and research equipment through which students can easily practice and undertake various practical research exercises. Lord Buddha College of Education offers only B.Ed course for two year full time in order to make perfect teacher education. The college has been imparting education mostly in B.Ed programme in order to train teacher education professionals. It being an intake-approved course, it occupies the central position in the total curriculum PLV College offers. 

The admissions are done merit list of the entrance test for B.Ed program conducted by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. The competitive nature of the respective selection programme guarantees that candidates with a desire and abilities are placed in the programme.
