D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
MITT has 50 seats for the two-year D.El.Ed course, which is aimed at primary teaching. Admission is based on merit considering marks secured in the entrance test and/or qualifying examination. The process of selection is as per the guidelines of the state government and UT administration.

B.Lib.I.Sc (Bachelor of Library and Information Science):
The B.Lib.I.Sc course in MITT is intended for those wishing to pursue library science, it will probably be the same merit-based method used for the other courses. The institute provides 35 seats for the course.
