Affiliated college, Mahantswamy Arts Science and Commerce College, Haunsbhavi was established in 1967 in the district of Haveri, Karnataka. This institution is however accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and provides a large portfolio of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Located on a spacious land area of 12.5 acre, this college has a total admission capacity of 556 and it has 20 faculty members. To support the practical knowledge, the institution has furnished laboratory for Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Agri Marketing, Geography etc. There is also concern for the health of students by providing the college with sports amenities such as playing fields and gym. Due to this, the institution has arranged different hostels for the students of the opposite sex to ensure they have met the needs of their students. The physical facilities of the University reflect modernity, especially the IT facililty in order to promote success in the academic endeavours of the students. Other facilities include staff and students canteen, a hall for holding events such as seminars, lectures, church activities etc., and car park for both the staff and students.

Mahantswamy Arts Science and Commerce College in total provides three full-time courses, which includes the undergraduate and postgraduate course streams. These include three programmes of the bachelor’s degree as well as one master’s degree programme. Total approved intake for the purpose of the undergraduate courses is 420 making a claim of the college’s ability to admit a large number of aspiring candidates.
