Maharaja Agrasen Mahavidyalaya, Bareilly was established in 1994 as a constituent college of Delhi University. In the life of an educational institution, twenty years may be a small ray on a broad spectrum, but for Maharaja Agrasen College, the past two decades have been truly constructive as building blocks.
In August 1994, as a constituent college of Delhi University, the college was temporarily named Co-educational College and later renamed Maharaja Agrasen College after a great Indian ruler. In 28 years of its operation, the institution has established itself as one of the best colleges in the country for undergraduate degrees. Ranked as 22ṇd best college in the country for science undergraduate courses by India Today magazine, the college is accredited with an ‘A’ grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
MAM Bareilly courses include 10 undergraduate programs across the three major disciplines of Arts, Commerce and Science, fostering interdisciplinary and skill exchanges in the form of interdisciplinary research and outreach programs.
MAM Admission for UG will be done based on the Common University Entrance Test - Undergraduate (CUET-UG). Appearing in CUET (UG) will not be a sufficient condition to secure a seat in Maharaja Agrasen Mahavidyalaya.
For MAM admission to the UG programs, a candidate has to apply to the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) of the University of Delhi. MAM fees for UG and PG programme vary for each course. MAH Bareilly facilities include a Library, Sports, Hostel, Laboratories, NCC, NCWEB, etc.
The MAM Placement Cell is an indispensable community that prepares students for the corporate world by providing them with placement opportunities, which companies they can apply for and how to clear interviews. The MAM Bareilly placement cell conducts many workshops where they invite successful entrepreneurs and working men to motivate the students to reach heights.
The MAM Bareilly offers scholarships in three different categories; Institutional Scholarship, Governmental Scholarship, and Non-Governmental Scholarship.
