Mahila Mahavidyalya, Aurangabad, is a women’s college, set up in the year 2006 and this college trains teachers efficiently. It is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to have quality standards for its education. The college occupies only 0.98842 acres of land spread over a small area and has a current student population of 205 all female, as a women’s college. The college consists of 16 member faculty, which puts it in a position of a healthy student-to-faculty ratio desirable for the students. 

Mahila Mahavidyalya has put in place a number of infrastructural amenities that aim at improving tuition for the students. The library is one of the main academic facilities that accumulate 4,000 books and have 80 magazines. It also has up-to-date facilities like computers connected to the internet, video cameras, and still cameras to meet various learning styles. The multipurpose science laboratory is very equipped with electronic equipment and items suited for practical use.
