Post Basic B.Sc Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant for admission should be between 17 to 35 years as on 31st December.
  • Eligibility: 10+2 with preferably science or any offer stream like arts, commerce & vocational courses with minimum 40% marks.
  • The candidate should be obtained 50% marks in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized Institution Approved by Indian Nursing Council.
  • The candidate must be registered as a Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) with H.P State Nurses Registration Council, Shimla during the time of the Admission process.
  • The candidate should be medically fit.
