Maulana Azad Muslim Teacher Training College, Jodhpur. It is an NCTE recognized teacher education institution intended for Muslims. The college is admitting students through merit under cut-off standards as prescribed by the State Government and the affiliated university. Priority admission depends on the eligibility of prospective candidates for the teacher training programs. At present, the college is running two full-time courses: Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed).  Admission to the B.Ed program is by merit based on marks scored in qualifying examinations or as may be decided by the respective State Government norms. The D.El.Ed program will use the mode of admission through merit determined in qualifying examination or entrance examination as prescribed by the State Government or UT administration.

The candidates need to become familiar with the college admission policy in an identical manner as given by the Rajasthan State Government and affiliated university, thus proving a fair and common selection procedure for all applicants. Application Process

The application procedure is usually as follows: Maulana Azad Muslim Teacher Training College, Jodhpur:

1. Announcement of Admissions: The college announces through various media and its official website.

2. Application Form: The forms are filled by candidates obtaining the application form. This may be available online on the college website or at the campus of the college.

3. Documents Submission: The candidates will submit the finally filled form along with certain documents, such as:

• Mark sheets from qualifying examinations
• Proof of date of birth
• Category certificates (if applicable)
• Any other documents specified by the college or state government. 

4. Entrance Examination: Depending on the present status for the course and the state policies, an entrance examination may also be required for aspirants.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education Programme): Admission is strictly on a merit basis, but not without taking into account marks produced in the qualifying examination. This program shall offer 200 students an admission, as sanctioned by the government. Besides merit lists, the college may also conduct an entrance test or undertake any other procedure for selection as per the policy of the State Government of Rajasthan and the university to which it is affiliated. This full-time course lasts two years and intends to cater to students preparing to teach in secondary and higher secondary levels.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D. El. Ed. program will have only 50 seats, where admission is made the same way as in B.Ed. Admission is on merit derived from the qualifying test or entrance examination as stipulated by the state government or UT administration. This is a two-year diploma course meant to train teachers in the elementary level. It intends to enable them to build teaching competencies to teach at primary and upper primary level.
