    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of Meerut College feels outdated and in need of serious upgrades. Many classrooms still have old furniture, poor lighting, and limited ventilation, which makes long lectures uncomfortable.

    Academics

The teaching quality varies, some faculty are helpful, but many rely too much on theoretical lectures without connecting the concepts to real business scenarios. This makes the classes less engaging and harder to relate to practical applications.

    Placements

Placement opportunities for B.Com students are also limited compared to technical courses. Most recruiters focus on engineering or management students, and the roles offered in commerce are often low-paying or not directly relevant to our field.

    Need to be modernization.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college has a spacious campus with traditional classrooms, a well-stocked library, and basic computer facilities. While the infrastructure is functional, it could benefit from modernization to match the needs of present-day students.

    Academics

The faculty members are knowledgeable in their respective fields and emphasize theoretical clarity. They are approachable and provide guidance for academic and career-related queries. Teaching methods are mostly lecture-based, with occasional seminars and discussions.

    Placements

Meerut College offers limited placement opportunities for BCom students, as the focus is more on academics than campus recruitment. However, students aiming for higher studies or competitive exams find the academic base useful.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is average but acceptable . There are no hostels or canteens for students. Science labs are functional but need better maintenance and upgraded equipment. The library has a decent collection of books, though seating arrangements can get crowded during exam time.

    Academics

The quality of faculty varies. Some teachers are experienced and explain concepts well, while others rely heavily on old teaching methods. The syllabus is set by CCS University, so it is standardized and covers the necessary topics for the B.Sc course.

    Placements

There are no placements for B.Sc students at Meerut College. As a government college under CCS University, the focus is more on academics than on campus recruitment. No companies visit the campus for science graduates. Students usually need to find jobs or further study options on their own after finishing the course.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is decent. The science labs are functional and well-stocked with essential equipment, although a bit of modernization could make them better. The campus is spacious and green, but the classrooms are somewhat basic and lack modern teaching aids like projectors or smart boards.

    Academics

The professors are experienced and knowledgeable, especially in core science subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Most of them are very helpful and encourage doubt-solving both during and after lectures.

    Placements

Being a traditional government college, placement opportunities are limited, especially for B.Sc. students. However, those who are focused often pursue higher studies or competitive exams. The college conducts seminars and career counseling sessions occasionally, which can be helpful if you take initiative.

    College Infrastructure

The campus is spacious and surrounded by greenery. While the infrastructure is somewhat traditional and needs modernization in parts, basic facilities like libraries and lecture halls are functional. The college library has a decent collection of books, especially for humanities students.

    Academics

The faculty members are knowledgeable in their respective fields, especially in subjects like Political Science, History, Hindi, and Economics. Most professors were helpful and encouraged conceptual understanding. The syllabus was well-structured and covered both traditional and contemporary topics.

    Placements

Placements for B.A. students at Meerut College are limited, as the course is more academic and theoretical in nature, with a focus on preparing students for higher studies and government exams rather than direct job placements. The college does not have a dedicated placement cell for arts students, and companies rarely visit the campus for undergraduate arts recruitment.

Not good for corporate sector but okay for getting degree

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

There is no Wi-Fi facility for the students, and the majority of the classes are simple, non-air conditioned, with normal seating. Although laboratories and libraries exist, the latter are not large enough for science and research students. For BA, facilities are meager, though the library has a satisfactory collection of study books and reference material.

    Academics

The majority of the teachers are friendly and helpful if you regularly attend classes. The quality of teaching is good although the approach is largely conventional chalk-and-talk oriented. The curriculum is CCS University guideline based, and the curriculum has core theory courses.

    Placements

The college never organizes any campus interviews or company tie-ups with us for the students of BA, so we all prepare for government jobs, teaching, or competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, or higher studies like MA or B.Ed.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

Meerut College has a traditional campus with a historical feel. The law department buliding is functional bur lacks modern amenities. Moor courtrooms exist but could use more attention and regular practice sessions.

    Academics

The syllabus follows Bar Council guidelines, covering all necessary legal domains. Teachers are approachable, but students need to be proactive to make the most of mentorship opportunities. Some of them are also involved in active legal practice, which enriches the classroom with real-world insight.

    Placements

The Placement landscape for LLB students at Meerut College is modest. While there isn't a robust campus recruitment drive dedicated to law graduates, some students manage to secure legal interships in district courts, NGO's and chambers of practical advocates.
