MNR College of Pharmacy, Sangareddy (MNRCOP) is one of the premier pharmacy colleges that was started in 2004 in Sangareddy, Hyderabad, Telangana. It is affiliated with the Osmania University and has commissioned the Pharmacy Council of India and AICTE, New Delhi. With six imaging courses across three degrees, MNRCOP is located in a vast 110 acres area; the college has 618 enrolments. MNRCOP offers a range of programmes in pharmacy to meet different career path needs. There are 6 courses in the institute right now, B.Pharma is the undergraduate course offered while the other 5 are at the master’s and doctoral levels, these are M.Pharma in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharm.D and Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate. These courses were intended to meet various subfields that are available in the pharmaceutical line. Total number of students intake across all courses is 185 and for B.Pharma the intake is maximum being 100 seats.
Entry into MNRCOP depends on one of the exams depending on the course of study pursued by the candidate. For B.Pharma, admissions are made through the Telangana State EAMCET Exam; Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharma) admissions are done in accordance with Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) & Telangana State Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET). The Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate programme does factor the TS PGECET scores when it comes to admissions.
