Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Pharmacy is one of the leading and emerging institution in the field of pharmacy education and was established during the year 1998. This is a co-educational college situated in Chennai in the area called Sholinganallur hence acts as an affiliate of the AKTR college of Engineering The college was established to offer the courses that are popular in the science field and it is under the Pharmacy council of India hence recognized. The area of the campus is 2.61 acres and it offers a conducive learning environment for students learning and research activities. There are 401 students in total for which the college intake and 8 faculty members allow a small size college which personalizes the experience. Fischer currently has three full time courses at two degree levels offering various aspects of pharmacy education.

As mentioned earlier, the college has a range of utilities aimed at improving on the development of the students, academically and in other aspects. It supports thousands of books on pharmaceutical Sciences & its allied fields, national/ international journals, CDs, & Scientific videotapes. Broad-band connection and number of terminals ensure sophisticated search and study. If it comes to physical health, the college has a good-natured playground and a gym available for the students. The campus also has a separate hostels for boys and girls with clean and hygienic environment and home like atmosphere with delicious mess available. A water purification unit of 1000 liters per day is produced to supply safe water for drinking to the people in the campus.

Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Pharmacy has one under graduate course and two post graduate full time courses. The B.Pharma programme has 100 students intake whereas M.Pharma programmes Pharmacology & Pharmaceutics each has 15 students intake. Every course offered in the college is normal and full time to ensure that the college offers complete and intensive education in pharmaceuticals. The total approved intake in all courses is one hundred and thirty students per year.
