24 MonthsPost Basic B.Sc Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Pondicherry University, Puducherry and approved by Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Minimum educational qualification shall be Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery with duration of not less than 3 years of course of study, Recognized by the indian nursing council. The minimum aggregate marks shall be 50% passing the higher secondary or an equivalent (10+2)examination recognized by the university for this purpose. those who have done 10+1 on or before 1986 will also be eligible for admission. the candidate should be a registered nurse and registered midwife or equivalent with any state nursing registration council. a male nurse trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with state nurses registration council shall produce evidence of training approved by Indian nursing council.
