Nagpur College of Pharmacy, Nagpur, is a new college established just recently in the year 2019. This affiliated college, newly set in the premises of Wanadongri, Hingna Road, Nagpur, Maharashtra has proved itself to be a poised college offering pharmacy study. Recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the college provides two pharmacy courses. Nagpur College of Pharmacy heralds and nine core faculty members including 6 Ph.Ds dedicated towards the cause and uplift of the college providing quality education in the diverse field of pharmaceutical sciences.
Nagpur College of Pharmacy offers a variety of functional equipments to complement its educative mandate. Facilitating all the academic positions is a central library with adequate pharmaceutical literature, journals and research documents. Like any college, the college has laboratories meant to prepare students for practical experience, which are very useful in the pharmacy business. However, in the modern world, this college also does not keep up with it – it has a perfect IT facility with more than fifty computers linked with high bandwidth LAN and one hundred Mbps leased line internet connection make digital apparatus up-to-date for students. Another facility extended by the college to students is a banking and ATM service has been made available on campus with the collaboration of Tirupati Urban Co-op Bank. Student’s cafeteria is clean and provides nutritional meals; the college is located adjacent to Shalini Tai Meghe Hospital and Research Center in case of emergency services. The Nagpur College of Pharmacy has mainly two courses in the pharmacology field.
The college offers two and four year course in the field of Pharmacy: Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) and Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma). They are both full time with campus learning, and are aimed at preparing students with comprehensive knowledge of pharmaceutical science. The intakes allowed in D.Pharma are 60 students and the B.Pharma being 100 students per year.
