Need to modernize both academic and infrastructure.

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The Infrastructure feels outdated and neglected. Many classrooms have broken benches and poor ventilation, which makes attending lectures in the summer quite uncomfortable. There's no real digital support for students and lab resources are minimal.

    Academics

The Teaching method still leans heavily on outdated notes and textbook learning rather than real-world understanding or discussions. There's also minimal academic counselling or support for students who struggle.

    Placements

There's no structured placement cell for B.A students and barely any companies visit for recruitment. Most of us had to search for off-campus internships or Opportunities on our own. The opportunities here after graduation might be disappointed.

Don't do BA or Any UG course if you want a good job

    College Infrastructure

The college itself is quite old and simple. The classroom is plain but functional arrangements like smart boards or air conditioning. No hostel is available, the library is quite large, well-stocked, and well-maintained, which is useful for students .

    Academics

The teaching experience is varied. The teachers are welcoming and attempt to guide the students as much as possible, but certain teachers are unapproachable.no industrial visit no seminars are organized for BA students.

    Placements

There aren't any major placement drives for this course. The students go for higher studies or government exams. If you're searching for a college with good placement facilities for BA, this is not perhaps the right college for you.

Need improvement in infrastructure and placements.

    College Infrastructure

While the Campus has a decent outward appearance, the actual facilities for B.A students are underwhelming. Classroom are often outdated, with broken benches and insufficient lighting in some bulidings. There is little to no access to digital learning aids.

    Academics

Some faculty members are supportive and knowledgeable, but inconsistency in teaching quality is a real issue. A few professors lack engagement, often resorting to dictating notes rather than encouraging critical thinking or discussion.

    Placements

Placement Opportunities for B.A at NAS College are unfortunately quite limited. The placement cell exists more in name than in function. Hardly any reputed companies visit the campus for humanities or arts related roles.

    College Infrastructure

The Infrastructure for the B.Sc department is academically focused. Classroom are decent and adequately maintained, with projectors available in some blocks. Science laboratories are well-stocked with apparatus required for practicals.

    Academics

The Teaching staff is highly supportive and experienced. They are attentive to students progress and often help in preparation for entrance tests, Olympiads and academic competitions. The curriculum is well-aligned with university guidelines.

    Placements

NAS College provides moderate placement support, primarily for science graduates aiming for research, education or government roles. While corporate tie-ups are still expanding, students with consistent academic performance and clarity in their subjects area often land internships or job offers through guidance from mentors.

College is lacking in some major facilities

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The college campus is old-fashioned and not modern or luxurious, the basic infrastructural facilities for studying are available. The classrooms are functional, and there is a library with satisfactory material. There are few smart facilities or advanced labs available, but for a studious student like me, the atmosphere is manageable.

    Academics

The college faculty is very helpful and kind hearted, The curriculum is designed by CCS University, hence it's theoretical in nature and follows a set pattern. There is not much flexibility or industry-specific subjects, but it covers all the necessary points for students who specialize in History.

    Placements

Being a government college under CCS University, there isn't much emphasis on placements like private colleges. The majority of students either opt for higher studies or government exam preparations. For BSc and BA courses, the college does not offer direct job placements or campus recruitment.

College is okay okay but very bad in placement.

    College Infrastructure

NAS College buildings are extremely old. The majority of the classes, corridors, and even lab rooms look old and require modernization. No modern buildings, and the machinery is also quite simple. Wide grounds and simple facilities but overall it has to be upgraded regarding modernization and better study spaces. It's a government college, so maintenance is average and you can't expect too much of high-standard levels.

    Academics

One of the good things about NAS College is that its faculty members are very experienced and well-informed. Since this is a government college, all the teachers are appointed on the basis of proper government protocol, and they are well qualified as well. The standards of teaching are very good, and the teachers give their studies top priority.

    Placements

The placement situation here is not very favorable for B.Sc. students. There are hardly any campus placements, and the majority of the students do not come here with the purpose of just completing their degree and then finding employment on their own or pursuing higher studies. The college has limited connections with companies for science graduates, so you cannot bank upon placements if you are doing B.Sc.

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure at NAS College is functional but could benefit from modernization. Classroom are basic and may not be equipped with the latest teaching aids. The library, while present, might not have an extensive collection of update resources, there is a lack of advanced facilities.

    Academics

The faculty members are generally knowledgeable and committed to teaching. However, administration processes with in the college have been described as slow and sometimes unresponsive. Students have reported difficulties in administration tasks, which can lead to unnecessary stress.

    Placements

The college currently lacks a robust placement cell, which poses challenges for students seeking job opportunities. Many students rely on their own efforts to secure internship and employment, as the institution does not have strong ties with prominent recruiters.

    College Infrastructure

For a government college, the infrastructure is average. There are good facilities for sports like football, cricket, table tennis, and carrom. The library is one of the better parts of this college which is well-maintained and stocked with useful books.

    Academics

Faculty members are mix, some qre very helpful and knowledgeable, while others may not be as supportive. Still if you're serious about the subject, the course content is relevant and can help you build a solid foundation.

    Placements

Placement opportunities through the college for this course are limited. Roughly few students take the placement but nost ot them aim for government exams or teaching careers instead of relying on campus placements. Don't expect placement assistance from the college for this stream.

    College Infrastructure

The facilities at NAS College are good but not great. Classrooms are simple, with good seating and ventilation, but do not look out for high-tech smart class arrangements.Basic amenities such as drinking water, washrooms, and common rooms are present, but not always well-maintained.

    Academics

The syllabus is according to CCS University regulations and comprises relevant subjects such as Political Theory, Indian Constitution, Public Administration, and International Relations. The majority of professors possess a good hold on their subject and attempt to explain things in relation to applicable current affairs and political theories.

    Placements

Placements for Political Science and other BA courses are very average in NAS College. Although there is a placement cell at the college, most of the placements are on professional and technical courses. Some students are able to find internships or jobs at the entry level in NGOs, private institutes, or political consultancy firms, but most of the students opt for higher studies or appear in competitive exams like UPSC, PCS, or NET.

    College Infrastructure

Average as The class rooms are sufficient but lack of modern equipment such as projectors and smart boards. The hostel facility does not exist, and the outside students have to arrange their accommodation on their own. The canteen facility is minimal with basic foodstuff. The college has sports facilities, and Wi-Fi but it is not good.

    Academics

The faculty is qualified but the quality of teaching is poor. Some professors are very qualified and helpful, but others teach theory alone and not practical applications. The B.Sc. curriculum is average and doesn't keep up with industry trends. There are hardly any industrial visits or practical classes, which can provide students with practical exposure.

    Placements

Placement opportunities of B.Sc. students in NAS College, are limited. Science students get no specially organized placement drives, and it is mostly on their own by either studying further like M.Sc., research entrances, or government examinations. The job opportunities off-campus are explored by some of the students themselves, but limited corporate recruitment effort by the college is present.
