Hello Ayush

There msut not be any "should" as you are already deprived of top NIFT's like Delhi (closing rank- 45 last year), Mumbai(120), Bangalore(160), Kolkata(220), Hyderabad(250) and even Gandhinagar too.

So with this rank you are only left with NIFT Chennai as your major option or else KAnnur or Patna NIFT.

Scope:

The B.F.Tech (Apparel Production) will train you to be employed in the apparel manufacturing industry. The course teaches you the basics of textiles, fashion & gives you highly technical inputs related to pattern making, Garment construction, Apparel machinery, Apparel production. Also there are subjects from computer streams like RDBMS,VB.NET, AUTOCAD, ERP which are meant to introduce to the softwares used in the industry.

You can be placed either in manufacturing, quality control, production planning, merchandising in an apparel manufacturing company (generally either a exporter or a domestic brand)

Few students have gone on to become technical consultants for fashion specific ERP

Which has better scope bdes or bftech ??

Bachelors in design has fantastic scope as majorly roke soffered across various industries and vertical.

Bachelors in Fashion Technology is more inclines towaeds Fashion Industry and is very specific leading to lesser opportunities comparatively.

Secondly, Bacheloes in Design has been offered by top collegrs and oversll has decent demand for skilled talent.
