24 MonthsMaster of Computer Application (MCA) is a two-year full-time course postgraduate offered by Mizoram University, Aizawl, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate who has passed 3 years (or Six Semesters) Bachelor’s Degree (B.A/B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A/B.B.A. or any other degree course) with at least 50% marks in aggregate or having equivalent grade from any recognized University/Institution with Mathematics as core/compulsory course at the graduation level.
- Lateral Entry: A candidate who has passed the PG Diploma in Computer Application from any recognized University/Institution or NIELIT ‘A’ Level course under Govt. of India (with at least 50% aggregate marks) and a minimum of one (1) year of institutional study after Bachelor’s Degree can be considered for admission into 3rd semester (Third Semester) of MCA program, subject to the availability of the seats.
Admission Details
Admissions of students to the various courses are subjected to the qualifying of the candidates either in the Counseling or Entrance test or both as decided by the Admission Committee.
