When you join any NIFT for a Fashion Designing course, you straight away don't design clothes for celebrities and models. That is not fashion designing, You learn the intrinsics of designing in various fields like textile, handloom, knitwear, etc. You learn these basics and put them to creative use and design clothes. And initially for you to start off, you will have to work as an intern under a designer who has established himself/herself. hey,

as this is a part time course, you may not get the hostel facility. however you can stay near the college campus as a paying guest or in any girls hostel.

you can also ask the same  at the time of admission to college authority. also search in internet as various hostel advertisement available.

Dear Student,

National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) examination includes two exams for B.Des course i.e. Creative Ability Test of duration 3 hours and General Ability Test duration of 2 hours. It is a national level exam which doesn't have negative marking in it. Hope this is helpful.
