Hello Priyanka, No, I don't think you can get admission in NIFT Delhi in any of the B.des courses except Leather design course which had a closing rank of 6112 in 2018. So the chances are very low in leather design course too but I suggest you apply because the cutoff might fall and maybe you can be able to get a seat at the last moment.

NIFT admission is done one the basis of rank. It is done on the basis of common rank list and category rank list. If you are from reserved list then you cant apply from the general list you will be given admission on the basis of your category rank.

It is difficult to tell you the exact about the admission possibilities as the cutoff varies every year depending on the various factors such as No. of Candidates Appeared for the Exam, Difficulty level of the exam etc. As per the previous year closing rank, The chances are less to get a seat in NIFT Delhi for any of B.Des programme. You can also use NIFT College Predictor tool to know your admission possibilities with the given below link.

The category document doesn't concern about the place in which it is made. You should have a valid document stating your category for admission in vatecate in NIFT or any other institute. Validity of the document matters only it doesn't matter where it has been made. Hope this helps.

164 Category merit rank is very nice and it would definitely fetch you a seat in both NIFT Kannur and Bangalore since the final closing rank for them were 926 and 319 respectively for the year 2018.

It is difficult to predict your admission chances as cutoff varies every year depending on the various factors such as difficulty level of the exam, Performance of the candidates etc. However as per the previous year closing rank, You might have the chance to get NIFT Delhi for MFM programme.

You can also check the previous year cutoff to take an idea about the admission possibilities.

Depends on the programme you want. I know this is much safer rank to get any programme from AD to BFT but you can face some competetion in BFT as last time the closing rank was somewhere 45 or 46 (General).

Other than BFT you won't face much competetion or in simple language you can get any programme in NIFT Delhi. 

Just keep BFT as (50-50).
