The National Institute of Fashion Technology or commonly known as NIFT takes admission test for getting the students admitted into various streams such as Bachelor in Fashion Technology, Bachelor in Designing and others.

Talking about the NIFT Entrance Examination and interview- The NIFT entrance exam is usually divided into four sections which are – Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), Situation Test, and Group Discussion or Personal Interview.

The NIFT or the National Institute of Fashion Technology Entrance Examination consists of two papers- CAT (Common Aptitude Test), and GAT (General Aptitude Test).

The Common Aptitude Test is done for Admission into Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech) course, and the GAT Test is for the Admission into Designing streams.

NIFT application form for undergraduate and postgraduate courses have begun from today, i.e.. 14th November, you can register at https://applyadmission.net/nift2021/?utm_source=careers360&utm_medium=traffic , last date is 21st January, 2021. the eligibility criteria for MFM is candidate should have passed undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or diploma of at least three years from National Institute of Design or NIFT, those who are in the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply for the same. There is no upper age limit regarding this. The exam will be conducted for 120 minutes with sections like quantitative ability, communication ability and english comprehension, analytical and logical ability, general knowledge and current affairs, case study for a total of 180 marks.

If you are in class 12th right now you will be appearing for your board examination 2021, this session i. e 2020 - 2021 and candidates appearing for class 12th board examination are eligible for NIFT exam examination and thus you are eligible for Nift 2021 examination

*you shouldn't be more than 23 years old as on October 1, 2020. For Sc /st /ph candidates there's  a relaxation of 5 years.

As the NIFT Entrance examination is conducted in the month of January Every year so it is expected that the registration process for the same may start anytime soon.
