First of all I would like to congratulate you for getting selected into NIFT.

NIFT is one of the best colleges of the countries for Fashion Technology and Fashion Designing. It is a government institution which follow all reservation criteria for different categories and also allow Home State domicile.

Since during the time of admission, the Certificates of the 12 Boards examinations are not out, so you can follow the Annexure A and go for provisional admission.

Presentation Day or Jury day in NIFT is a day to present the completed task or work, which was assigned to the students. It depends on what the students had been taught in that particular semester. At the end of each semester the sudents have to face Juries where they are evaluated based on the work they have done throughout the semester.

I hope you are doing well, if you are asking about the rank requirements than it can vary based on the reservation category you belong.

Cut-off by rank for all reserved categories of 2019

General —154

OBC — 300

SC— 893

ST— 1195

PWDGN—1720

Economically Weaker Section — 473

This was the cut-off rank for each category during 2019 NIFT ENTRANCE TEST. Now this can also vary based on the type of course u wish to enroll in.

NIFT hasn't yet released application form for MFM, it can be released anytime soon though there is no official confirmation regarding the dates, the eligibility criteria for MFM is candidate should have passed undergraduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or diploma of at least three years from National Institute of Design or NIFT, those who are in the final year of the qualifying exam can also apply for the same. There is no upper age limit regarding this. The exam will be conducted for 120 minutes with sections like quantitative ability, communication ability and english comprehension, analytical and logical ability, general knowledge and current affairs, case study for a total of 180 marks, for more details regarding this visit our page at https://design.careers360.com/articles/nift

It would be amazing to have the life of  in fashion design at this college . First of all, lots of contribution to the students from faculty. secondly, the boy's going to do it and not fashion/styling. Students  will get to know the latest trends and strategies, understand the needs of women in fashion, and if she shops, every other girl will ask for his suggestions. The boy learns about photography, fashion marketing, various kinds of fabrics, various kinds of electronics, different kinds of culture, and much more. In this college FD is a very excellent course. You're going to learn lots of things and that gives you the scope to intermingle with other things as well. An FD student will do the job of an FC and TD student as well. You can also make jewelry or stitched dresses in certain scenarios.

The institute's Means-cum-Merit Financial Assistance scheme allows students from humble backgrounds to avail subsidized tuition fee at every Campus. Determined by the parental income, students can fall into three slabs of monetary assistance and those candidates will be provided with necessary assistance. There are mainly two schemes:

1)SARTHAK” NIFT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEME -will be applicable to all the regular students of NIFT fulfilling prescribed criteria. The benefits of this Scheme shall not extend to NRI/ NRI sponsored students.

2)“UDAAN”- NIFT MEANS – CUM - MERIT SCHEME FOR FOREIGN STUDIES -Regular students belonging to economically weaker sections of NIFT fulfilling the criteria of "SARTHAK” NIFT Financial Assistance Scheme", will be eligible for consideration under the “UDAAN”- NIFT SCHOLARSHIPSCHEME FOR FOREIGN STUDIES”. The benefits of this Scheme shall not extend to NRI/ NRI sponsored students. A limited number of students per year will be selected across the NIFT campuses. The finally selected students will receive sponsorship for the approved course fees for the period along with travel and subsistence allowance.

Dear aspirant

If you have to join NIFT college then you should pass NIFT entrance exam. NIFT 2021 exam dates are still hadn't been declared. NIFT is conducted in two phase fisrt online theory paper and if you cross this then you will have to pass  Situation Test/Group Discussion/Interview. Tentative date for NIF exam is last week of January. Application form may be out in month of Dec. You can check details about NIft entrance then visit the link below
